A Regenerative Future For Flowers
Designed as a sustainable alternative for flower packaging to reduce packaging waste and recycling dependency in the floral industry. Made of recycled or plant-based paper, water, and seeds.
Seed paper transforms a single-use waste object into a regenerative design intervention—restoring local ecosystems and increasing pollinator species, reducing emissions, and redefining sustainable packaging through regenerative design.
It is designed for separation as using only recycled paper, water, and seeds, minimizes material diversity.
The paper is durable enough to protect the flowers during transportation and shelf life, but it will not last forever, degrading easily at the end of its life.
The water used in production is nontoxic, reducing water treatment needs, and can be reused to generate new seed paper.
At the end of its life, it can be planted to grow flowers, plants, and vegetables, adding to biodiversity, assisting in seed dispersal, and creating beauty, without requiring reprocessing.
